The Theme Song
The song, "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees used to run through John's head, as he often had to work hard to do just that.
Quote
"I gave up my life so they can use me for experiments."
~John A. Snyder
John suffered from the side effects of a long list of pharmaceuticals, administered to him by the VA staffers, for little reason other than his insurance policy "...was a good one." and would pay for it. Many of these pharmaceuticals were used in experimental applications on John, and in those applications especially, are listed as black box drugs.
His wife, Pat's loving care brought John back from the brink of death many times. On several occurrences Pat rescued John from the hospitals abusing him. In 2009 Pat was up for 72 hours straight saving John from a group of "physicians" who, in a last ditch effort to cover up their gross incompetency, were willing to euthanize John, by finally releasing him, with a lethal prescription. After that very close call, which involved a somewhat miraculous recovery from acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) John was able to return home to Pat's love and care and live almost a year as a useful and happy person.
